Khutso Godfrey Nkwana

Khutso is an phenomenal Alto Saxophonist from Tembisa. I started my music journey at the Moses Taiwa Molelekwa Arts Foundation, playing Trumpet(which was my first instrument) but got mesmerised by the sound of the legendary tenor saxophonist McCoy Morubata who was tutoring at the foundation during that time. I got to do gigs with the foundation band and I meet other greats such as Zim Ngqawana, Bannie Rachabane, Hugh Masekela and more. Now I’m a professional musician and I’ve shared stages with living legends such as Nduduzo Makhathini, Ayanda Sikade, BlackCoffee, Dj Maphorisa, Kabza the Small and many more.
