Nkosi Zondo

Nkosi Zondo born in 1986 Senaoane, Soweto, is a multi-talented musician who began his music journey at Funda Community College in 2006. His passion for music has lead him into being a well-known musician in South Africa. And in raising his accolades in music, Nkosi Zondo has worked with a variety of performers, namely; Sibongile Khumalo, Majola, Lebo Mashile, Sabelo Mthembu, Musa Mashiane, Presss, KB, Nathi Mankayi and many more.

Currently he is Samthing Soweto’s lead guitarist. Nkosi Zondo is also a Songwriter, Composer, music producer, director, arranger, lead guitarist and band leader for an African contemporary jazz band called Tladi Soles. Through his leadership, as a band, they have performed on some of the greatest stages between the years 2009 and 2013. Winning the Puisano Live Jazz Band Competition, taking 1st place for the year 2011/12, had them representing the Johannesburg region at the Standard Bank Joy of Jazz, Johannesburg Arts Alive, just to mention but a few.

As a producer, he has seen Tladi Soles releasing their debut album in April 2017, titled ‘Till We Meet Again’. Presently he is focused on launching himself as a solo recording and performing artist; and one of the best in the world.
