indie vogue
I was very much exposed and introduced to music and art at a very young age. And responded quite well to the creative environment, I then ventured into music, art and dance from there.
Everything around me, from a single interaction with a human being, to sitting with myself and accepting what it is I’m experiencing within myself. Life and everything beyond what life might be or is inspire me. What we know and might not know about our total existence. It’s an intriguing feeling. I am very much inspired by creators, investors, writers. The underdogs.
Indie Vogue, definitely is Alternative creative all round, i would describe my style of music as very flux, fluid, eccentric, unpredictable, ambiguous, yet ethereal and airy, intense and sensual.
I do a lot of writing in my own space, come up with ideas and go into studio with whatever it is I had planned or created in isolation. But I am very open and adaptable, think it’s important as an artist. I could also go into studio with completely nothing in my head and create then and there.
I think every musician has a role to play, and we have different goals and different visions. My music goals are to reach places that haven’t been reached within the music industry. To do things that haven’t been done before, and use this opportunity to bring in new concepts and ideas within the music industry. My goal is to venture into unconventional and exciting ventures within art and music, challenge grow and create. Especially encouraging indie music, indie musicians, black indie musicians.
