Mabeleng Moholo

Mabeleng Moholo born in Soweto, Mofolo Central. Studied music at Madimba Institute of African Music at Funda Centre (Soweto), studied ethnomusicology at Zimbabwe college of music. My company is called Bele’s Production and Services (Pty)Ltd, we teach learners how to make traditional instruments, how to handle instruments, how to play them and create their own songs. I have worked and toured with Simphiwe Dana, Zonke Dikana, Pop Mohammed, Lion King musical, My solo show is called Medumo Ya Africa and I do collaborate with other musicians, Gumboots musical, toured Gauteng, North West and Free State with my project called Medumo Ya Africa Indigenous Music In Schools funded by the NAC. To name but few. I am a percussionist with passion, always willing to share the craft and learn as much as i can.
